Read an article on the Sun about a cheating man busted by his wife with the help of google map! Google has this new app where it provides a 360 degree photo search throughout the country..and so the man told his wife he was going away on a business trip. But she was on google maps and saw that her husband's range rover was parked outside a female's home. HA!
Not really feelin technology going this route. It's gotten a lot of complaints since its launch.

Ok that person was me about 2,3 months ago but still..If I know about it, then everyone should know about!
I get really interested when I see any articles on twitter or anything on tv about it. It's especially funny to me when there are people playing psychologist and trying to figure out WHY we use twitter (ie. the article about how tweeters are narcisstic, insecure, and need to tweet to prove their existence? whatever)

What I'm craving right now..

Of Course while I have the stomach virus and am deathly sick (ok well not deathly..but almost), I am craving all the foods I love. And it sucks b/c I can't eat shit!

Woohoo!! 6-17-09!!

So I got my tickets today to see Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire..performing at MSG in June. I am reallllly excited because I love both of these bands and grew up on them.
AND I havent really been to many concerts in my lifetime: Ashanti and Santana.
Ok the Ashanti one was not very intentional..
I was in Foxwoods on a family vacay and was trying to find something to do since I was young at that time and coincidentally Ashanti was performing there for cheap. So I went and was of course thoroughly disappointed because after all..it is Ashanti!
Santana was cool though, even though they performed a whole bunch of songs I didn't know because they had released a new album and I wasnt up on that.
But I know Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire are going to be performing classics and I cannot wait!

So I stopped by Santos last night just b/c DJ Muro and DJ Neil Armstrong had a gig. I've been wanting to go there for some time now since it's always hyped up and I just wanted to see what the big fuss was about.
Being me, the self-concious person that I am, I didn't want to wait in line for 2 hours so got there around 10ish..there was already a line but just of a few people. Got in and it was just mediocre.
Of course the guys killed it on the turntables..
I was so drunk, me and sean from formatny were gettin busy on the dancefloor. I think we were the best dancers there..haha everyone around us probably thought we were crazy or just really drugged up. I had fun. But I don't expect to go back anytime soon. Paying $15 cover is just kind of wack to me..and clubs aren't my thing. I'm more of a lounge or bar type girl. I'm so chill...

I haven't blogged in a while. It's been a stressful week..
Midterms. Especially cramming the night BEFORE since I was slacking all week
and yes I do blame it on Twitter, and technology in general.
I have to admit that twitter is addictive. When I was being told about it, I was like "what? Twitter sounds stupid but wth i'll do it for networking purposes"..and then BAM! on it every second of the day. while I'm doing work or just walking in the streets, I'm thinking of 140 character phrases about anything I see or hear.
I pull my self away from the computer and do other things like..work out
but i can't keep my mind off of it..
I think, "did i get any new followers today?"
I was trying to fix my bg the other day and it wasn't working..and instead of studying, I spent 2 HOURS trying to fix it. And when it was fixed, I felt accomplished and that I had succeeded on something.. then I went to my midterm and I think i bombed it!
I've never been addicted to anything before..It's scary

i just wanted to express my love for..

Frozen Jamaican Beef PATTIES!!!
When I was younger, I wasn't really exposed to different types of food. Sure I had the italian meals, mexican (taco bell) but Jamaican food? NEVER
Until i grew older and expanded my collection of ethnic friends.

I fell in love with beef patties b/c come on, it's easy to eat and it's cheap..and it's yummmmy
and the best part about jamaican patties is how the beef inside is all mushy and esp when it's spicy?!! ooooooohhh man

So I almost peed in my pants when I tasted my first frozen one. I just didn't expect it to be that good like most frozen foods. Tower Isles makes awesome ones and I always keep a box in my freezer b/c what's better than having the munchies at 2am and popping one in the stove?

They need to see that I'm promoting them, and give me a lifetime supply. Oh what a dream come true that would be :)

a tribute to my EX-idol

So I was in the car this morning when a classic Mariah Carey song came on: Emotions. And It brought me back to the days when I was a little girl and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED HER! When she first came out, she had her big curly hair..and I have a video of her in concert when she was all humble and sweet and had SMALL TITS!! I have all of her albums..up until Rainbow. After Rainbow I gave up on her. Here are the ones I love:

Even in butterfly, she began to grow and cross over. When she came out with honey remix with the lox and mase in the video? LOVED IT! That's when bad boy was awesome too.. But then she got really famous, and was portrayed as this diva..and then her boobs got all big..Oh yeah and her songs started to suck!
So 2 years ago I was working at a bar and got news that she was renting out the place for a birthday party. I should've been excited since she was my childhood idol..but I was just more curious as to how she really is in real life. So of course she arrives hours late in dark sunglasses (even though it was hella dark inside) and her entourage of big buff body guards. When she was about to arrive, her assistant ran in and told the DJ that he has to play entrance music, which of course was "Fantasy"..throughout the night the assistant was bugging the DJ to play only her songs. MC doesn't have many party/club songs so the DJ ran out and had to repeat songs, LOL. but I guess that was better than playing anything else for them! That just showed how into herself she was..
She gave us some great music early in the years. So I commend her..

Let her continue on with her midlife crisis.
